Asturia is a master planned community north of Tampa, Florida along the rapidly growing SR-54 corridor in Pasco County. At the site of the former Behnke Ranch, it has become an award-winning Hines Community that offers a blend of shopping, office space, apartments, single-family homes, and townhomes, including traditional neighborhood development (TND) housing. Our team was responsible for the development of the master plan and detailed landscape architectural design for the many lifestyle amenities and design elements throughout the community, including parks, green spaces, a trail network, playgrounds, picnic areas, streetscapes, and a central community with a pool and fitness center.

Asturia reflects the developer’s philosophy and experience of planning and building communities in harmony with the environment. Intended to unite Pasco County’s long-term economic goals and healthy living with environmental awareness and stewardship, the community is comprised of a variety of walkable and diverse residential neighborhoods, offering a mix of housing types. As a planned community, residents now have access to commerce, employment, and accessible recreational areas, while natural systems are preserved to ensure that regional greenways are maintained.
