MAYO CLINIC OF FLORIDA

Mayo Clinic Jacksonville - Mangurian Building

Since 1996, Prosser | PRIME AE has been providing planning, civil, transportation and traffic engineering, and landscape architectural services for Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. Mayo Clinic provides world-class health care and research on over 350 acres on the southside of Jacksonville. Prosser | PRIME AE has performed multiple projects on their campus including stormwater management systems, roadway design modification and capacity improvements, pedestrian and safety improvements, master planning, parks and gardens, and trails and walkways.

Prosser | PRIME AE provided Civil Engineering and Landscape Architectural services for the Mangurian Building, a 190,000 square foot healthcare facility on the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville campus. The new facility was constructed to provide integrated services for complex cancer, neurologic, and neurosurgical care. Additionally, the building will be home for discovery, patient-centered research, and clinical trials.

The initial phase of construction included five stories; however, the building was designed to accommodate an additional seven stories. Site improvements included new parking facilities for patients and staff, new water and sewer infrastructure connections, pneumatic tube systems layout, new and rerouted existing stormwater conveyance systems, sidewalk improvements, landscape architecture, and irrigation design. The Mangurian Building is a key component in developing Mayo Clinic Florida’s campus as the premier medical destination in the Southeast.
