Area Port of Jacksonville Facility

The Port of Jacksonville has an airport and seaport with both cruise ship and cargo processing responsibilities. Port personnel are the face at the border for most cargo and visitors entering the United States. Here CBP enforces the import and export laws and regulations of the U.S. federal government and conducts admissibility activities.

Prosser | PRIME AE was a part of the General Capital team who was selected by GSA to build a new facility to co-locate two federal government agencies. The facility became the busy, Area Port of Jacksonville Florida’s base of operations for the United States Coast Guard and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The site was designed to achieve a LEED Silver designation and meet GSA’s stringent security requirements. The project includes an Emergency Management Center with generator buildings and K-rated security fencing and gate.
