Traffic Studies and Operations

In 2017, approximately 600M daily vehicle miles were traveled in Florida. In order to accommodate this large traffic volume and projected increases, traffic studies are a vital process to enhance the safety and performance of Florida’s freeways, state roads and local arterial streets. Prosser provides comprehensive services related to understanding traffic conditions leading to intelligent transportation solutions.

Roadway Design

Roadway Design

Florida has over 122,000 miles of public roads which require on-going maintenance and improvements. The process of managing one of the largest state roadway networks in the U.S. (ranked 9th) generally follows three major categories of roadway design: Minor Roadway Improvements, Major Roadway Improvements and Limited Access Facility Improvements. Prosser has the experience, qualifications and management processes to ensure successful projects in all three categories of roadway design.

Project Development & Environmental (PD&E) Studies

Project Development & Environmental (PD&E) Studies

Florida’s 20.5M residents, 116M annual visitors and continued growth creates an on-going challenge for our transportation authorities to manage the state’s roadways. PD&E studies are an important process used to help plan for this growing demand on Florida’s transportation network. Prosser is proud to have performed PD&E studies throughout the state.
