Global Home of the PGA Tour Topping Out Ceremony

On Thursday September 19th, 2019,  Prosser | PRIME AE’s  Vice President, Shawn Bliss, along with Sarah King, and Savannah Connelly attended the Global Home of the PGA’s “Topping Out Ceremony” in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Teams involved in the project had the opportunity to sign the last beam that would then be raised to its forever home in the new headquarters’ structure, permanently leaving their mark on the building. One end of the beam accommodated the American flag, the other a topiary to symbolize life. The main purpose of this age-old ceremony is to celebrate the building team and their safety as the structure reaches completion. The PGA Tour Executive Committee was among those present, including commissioner Jay Monahan.

Prosser | PRIME AE is involved in the sustainable building/site design process, targeting a LEED Gold rating. The design is heavily influenced by nature, the glazed facades allowing in natural light and views of the surrounding environment. Employee wellbeing and improving the quality of the workplace is central to the design which incorporates a gym, wellness garden, and fitness loop. We are excited to see this project reach completion in December of 2020.
